Jenny and Stefano Buratta opened Buratta's at the Royal Oak in 2003.  With a lifelong career in catering, beginning in Italy, Stefano's culinary inspiration and Jenny's talent for excellent customer service and management (and her new antiques and collectibles shop), has made Buratta's a special place for anyone seeking a relaxing lunchtime or evening out, whether for business or pleasure.

 Buratta's has received a main entry in the Good Pub Guide in the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 editions plus many other highly complementary reviews over the past few years.  Buratta's also appears in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide 2009 edition, as it has consistently for many years.  Both these highly respected guides depend on nominations and are not paid advertisements.

 The restaurant boasts several different environments.  There are separate dining areas including an airy conservatory that can be reserved for parties or meetings up to 25 people and a large garden with ducks. There is extensive car parking space.

Jenny and Stefano have created a rich, warm and welcoming atmosphere, using a variety of textiles, paints, pictures, ornaments, furniture and lighting, re-decorated at the end of 2007. Click on any of the photographs in this website, or browse our gallery, to appreciate some of the detail the proprietors have expended in making Buratta's an irresistible place to visit.

Jenny Buratta, who owned Cobweb's Antiques in Henley-on-Thames, now runs a unique furniture, anitques and collectibles shop at Buratta's, open during restaurant hours.  The shop is a treasure trove of items, old and new, hand-picked by Jenny and selling very well!

From furniture to fabrics, pictures to pottery, lamps, silverware, jewellery and much more. Come along and treat yourself to something unusual - or to buy a gift for someone special.
